This is a private event for pupils of the school only.
Two groups of children will work with artist Fra Beecher to create river related art.
Some children will have the opportunity to work beside the river.
Fra Beecher is an artist and wild swimmer.
She works with cameraless photography techniques, watergrams and
cyanotypes, to make images of Bristol’s River Avon. Fra also explores the
physical, emotional and psychological experience of swimming through
writing and drawing. Community and collaboration are important aspects
of Fra’s practice.
